InstaMed 10 Days of Giving is an annual event that welcomes InstaMed employees to donate toys to local children’s hospitals in the spirit of giving back and hopefully bringing a few moments of happiness to the children who are staying there. Children’s hospitals and the amazing work they do are the focus of InstaMed’s charitable giving. Plus, 9 out of the top 10 children’s hospitals are on the InstaMed Network.
The InstaMed 10 Days of Giving program uses a list of approved toys at a variety of price points so all employees can participate. For every toy an employee donates, InstaMed matches it with two additional toys. InstaMed has over 275 employees across the country, with 185 in the Philadelphia office. The team then boards a trolley (with Santa in the driver’s seat) and delivers all the toys collected to CHOP and Saint Christopher’s. This year, InstaMed is donating 1,500 toys!
This year, we held a special day for the children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews of InstaMed employees to take part in the fun! We enjoyed ice cream sandwiches, hot cocoa and even a visit from Santa! Kids had the opportunity to donate their own gift under the tree and participate in the act of giving.
This is the third annual InstaMed 10 Days of Giving program and it is sponsored by InstaMed’s women’s group, GROW (Growth, Resources and Outreach for Women).
