Global Head, J.P. Morgan Healthcare Payments
As Chief Executive Officer of InstaMed Jeff leads the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Payments business. In his role, Jeff manages the ongoing innovation, growth and execution of healthcare-specific solutions, including Healthcare Link and Disbursement Hub. Jeff and his teams are committed to delivering innovation to address administrative simplification for the entire healthcare payments market. Jeff is a proven leader and innovator with over 25 years of experience in healthcare and payments. He lends his expertise in healthcare payments as a speaker at industry events and conferences. Since joining InstaMed in 2008, Jeff has held several leadership roles in Product, Operations, Sales and Marketing, and he launched the InstaMed DE&I group in 2020. Prior to InstaMed, Jeff was an executive at Accenture, where he led multiple enterprise projects for many Fortune 100 companies.
Chief Revenue Officer
As Chief Revenue Office, Deirdre leads sales, client relationships and go to market strategy for J.P. Morgan Healthcare Payments. Deirdre’s deep healthcare payments experience, along with extensive go-to-market success across all segments of the business, will meet market needs and grow the business. Deirdre’s experience and expertise include a deep focus in healthcare payment research. Since 2013, she has led the delivery of the Trends in Healthcare Payments Annual Report to educate and inform the industry about the impacts of healthcare payments for all stakeholders: providers, payers and consumers.
Prior to her current role, she held leadership positions in Marketing and Product Management at InstaMed. She worked closely with some of the country’s largest payers to roll out healthcare payment solutions for both B2B and C2B payments. Before joining InstaMed, Deirdre held senior marketing and product roles at alphabroder and Collages.net, where she led marketing strategy to drive usage of B2B and B2C e-commerce platforms. Deirdre graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
Chief Technology Officer
Elmahdi leads the product strategy, product delivery and technology for J.P. Morgan Healthcare Payments. In his role, Elmahdi is responsible for the successful development and execution of InstaMed products across the healthcare landscape. Elmahdi has worked with InstaMed since its inception and has developed engineering teams with a product mindset. Elmahdi and his teams work to deliver a better healthcare payments experience for all stakeholders through innovative and effective product strategy.
Elmahdi is a respected leader and innovator in both financial and technology and healthcare payments. Elmahdi has been instrumental in the creation and growth of the InstaMed Network – helping to remove the friction in healthcare payments through innovation. This has included accelerating information exchange, optimizing the consumer experience and alleviating administrative burden in healthcare payments. Elmahdi is a named inventor of multiple patents held by InstaMed. Elmahdi holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Irvine.
Chief Product Officer
As Chief Product Officer, Brendan Crotty drives product strategy, innovation, and delivery for J.P. Morgan Healthcare Payments. Brendan oversees the product roadmap, maintenance, and launch efforts for all of the Healthcare Payment products, is responsible for product data and analytics, and manages all strategic partnerships with other healthcare IT systems. Brendan’s long tenure within the InstaMed product organization, combined with his expertise in the healthcare ecosystem, fuels the innovation and problem-solving that the healthcare payments market needs. Brendan has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
Chief Operating Officer
Will is responsible for the Healthcare Payments Operations Team including Sales Support, Contracting/KYC, Professional Services, Customer Service and Payment Settlement. Will’s organization supports the full client experience from the initial engagement, onboarding, implementation, reconciliation, and ongoing servicing. Prior to his current role, Will led the Professional Services Team with responsibility for implementing payers, providers and partners on the full suite of solutions.
Prior to InstaMed, Will was the Manager of Field Systems for Crothall Healthcare, a subsidiary of the Compass Group. Will managed teams responsible for the development and deployment of a custom suite of web-based applications at hospitals across the country. Will received a Bachelor of Arts from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Business Administration from Villanova University.
Head of Solutioning
Andrew leads the Client Solutioning team for J.P. Morgan Healthcare Payments. Comprised of healthcare industry experts who understand the specific payment needs of healthcare clients and offer consultative solutioning for embedding payment solutions into their environments, his team blends product and sales disciplines including technical design, adaptation and solution enhancement to drive successful products, achieve revenue goals and optimal client impact.
Andrew brings over 15 years of experience with healthcare technology, payments and revenue cycle with a focus on stability, scalability and user experience. Prior to his current role, while at InstaMed he designed and implemented embedded payment and healthcare offerings for large health systems and healthcare ISVs, ultimately founding the Solution Engineering team. Andrew received a Bachelor of Science from the College of Computing and Informatics at Drexel University.
